Situational Analysis of Investigative Practices in Law Enforcement That Undermine Justice in Belize

70% of reports of domestic violence between 2016 and 2018 were eventually dropped and 68.3% of LGBT murder cases have closed under the Human Rights Observatory ending in 2019. This report analyzes the systemic bias that undermines Belize’s justice system.
